SHELTER PLUS CARE... |
The Pathfinders recovery program in recent years has been expanded to include a special group of men. The Shelter Plus Care program serves homeless men with a dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental illness. This population is considered by health officials as one of the most under-served groups of homeless people in the nation. |

Pathfinders, after losing their lease at University Avenue and Grim Street, has planned relocation. A new property acquired by Pathfinders, also located on University Avenue, is now being remodeled. The facility will provide space for the Corporate Offices and housing for Shelter Plus Care residents. |

| It is a great day for all of us because of our participation in helping the community make progress in redeveloping a property that will benefit so many people now and in the future. It is with gratitude to everyone for helping make this new Shelter Plus Care project a reality. I am sure we will still see each other again in the future and we will keep you informed as we progress through construction .
