SHELTER PLUS CARE...

The Pathfinders recovery program in recent years has been expanded to include a special group of men. The Shelter Plus Care program serves homeless men with a dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental illness. This population is considered by health officials as one of the most under-served groups of homeless people in the nation.

Shelter Plus Care Ground Breaking Ceremony July 30, 2009

Pathfinders, after losing their lease at University Avenue and Grim Street, has planned relocation. A new property acquired by Pathfinders, also located on University Avenue, is now being remodeled. The facility will provide space for the Corporate Offices and housing for Shelter Plus Care residents.

CONGRATULATIONS:
It is a great day for all of us because of our participation in helping the community make progress in redeveloping a property that will benefit so many people now and in the future. It is with gratitude to everyone for helping make this new Shelter Plus Care project a reality. I am sure we will still see each other again in the future and we will keep you informed as we progress through construction . Thank you for allowing us to serve you and our community. Pathfinders thanks all of you for your support and encouragement.
